Oursonata: Ursonatathingallurtogetheruratonce.

I was listening to Eric Schmaltz's great autotuned version of Christian Bök's performance of Kurt Schwitters' Ursonate and it occurred to me to wonder what a bunch of simultaneous performances of the work would sound like.

So.

Here are brilliant performances by Christian Bök, Anat Pick, Christopher Butterfield, and Jaap Blonk of the beginning of the Ursonate all played at the same time. Accidentally, there was some processing that occurred—it's particularly noticeable on Christian's version—but the robots want the poetry they want, so I left it. And it sounded pretty interesting. (All of the performances are taken from Ubuweb.
